After Foot and Mouth in 2001 we purchased 3 females from Snab Green including L40 the full sister to L1. She is still alive today. She is dam of our Stock Tup T1 being sired by Riddings N012. A ewe was also purchased in lamb to P12 from Bull & Cave, it was daughter of K2, sister to a stock ram. She had 2 tup lambs 3425/T3 and 3425/T4, both were very good crossers, having bred show lambs each year and selling mule lambs to a top price of £150.00. In the last 4 show seasons we have 11 Mule Championships and 5 overall Show Championships by Highberries 3425/T4, 3425/T1 and Snab 830/X001. Other Stock rams include Overhouses P003 purchased as a 3 shear for £3,000, it is a very consistent ram breeding very clean, good skinned mules. 3425/W8 is home bred tup. He is grandson of an old Snab ewe sired by J7 Keer. He was sired by P29 Lunesdale, a very good mule lamb getter. A half share of this tup has been sold to Messrs Woodman, Great Chesters and is crossing well on Blackface ewes. He has had lambs at the Twice Brewed Show in 2007 out of both Swaledale and Blackface ewes.

3425/T4 won Progeny Show 2004 and was reserve in 2006. It had the single lamb champion at Penrith Show in 2006 and in 2007 the champion single lamb was sired by Snab 830/X001.

3425/T3 was reserve in the Blackface mule ewe lamb progeny class in 2005 and has had 16 out of 20 lambs in the top pen of 20 for Messrs Charlton, Whiteside at Hexham.
