X3 Barf House was purchased at Hawes in 2005 for £2,000. Sire of Champion Mule Lamb, Moorcock Show 2006, also five in top pen 2007. T5 Hewgill was bought at Hawes in 2002 for £3,200. He has sired several top pen lambs since bought. T5 is full brother to M/s Lord's T29 one of the top crossing bloodlines in the Association. All ram lambs sired by X3 Barf House are out of dams sired by T5 Hewgill. The Bluefaced Leicester flock has been bred for crossing since the 1960's. Stock rams used successfully in the last few years are: K16 Nunscleugh - £4,800 V17 Ilklymoor - £1,600 W1 Harland - £4,400 Plus several home bred sires including 790/E2 sire of Gordon Rawsthorne famous H9 another top bloodline.
