It was the 1st BFL second sale at Ballymena, trade was not as buoyant as the first sale but thier was one or two highlights.

Topping the trade were two shearlings at 1500 gns, the first was from Gerald Walsh with a tup bred by J Minnis Mossvale flock sired by Rossiebank Y3 and sold to James Stewart, the second was from Tom Crowe with a tup bred by C Old Hulloch Hill flock sired by St Ravenscar X3 and sold to J & W O'Kane.

At the pre sale show A Montgomery, Owencloughey Flock was Champion with a ram lamb by Z2 Aughafoy, he later sold for 380gns to Mr C Lamont Blackpark.
