Topping the trade at Masserene Antrim was Eamon McKeegan, Glenane with a lamb selling for 2000 gns to the judge Seamus O'Kane and Michelle Wright from the Mullaghwee flock.  This cracking lamb is boasting similar breeding as Glenane Magners which topped the premier sale in 2008 at 4800 gns being bred from the same dam, he is sired by Midlock W23.

Champion on the day came from an excellant pen of lambs brought forward by Alastair Christie The Fields.  This long stylish lamb was bred by the £4000 Ty-gywn Z3.

Reserve Champion was a very strong correct shearling from the flock of Brendan Blaney, Tievebuaile Farm being used successfully on Blackies as a lamb this ram went on to sell at 720 gns.

Champion Female of the day went to A J C & K Montgomery, Owencloughey for a ewe lamb.

The sale throughout was somewhat quiet with quality strong sheep finding new homes easily and lesser sheep finding it more difficult with customers being more selective in what they want.
