Topping the trade at £920 was a shearling ram from J O & R Struthers, Greenfield flock, purchased by I A Edgar, Lamington Mains, Lamington.
J Campbell was the judge for the day and his selected champion came from M/s Montgomerie, Assloss flock. Sired by A1 Cottage and out of a ewe by by Z26 Hinton this ram later sold for £700 to W J Coltherd & Son, Foulshiels Farm, Yarrow.
Reserve Champion was from J O & R Struthers, Greenfield flock with a ram sired by X6 Bank Farm and out of a ewe by T9 Carry House.
Female Champion was from D M Bryson, Laigh Logan flock with a gimmer by X2 Greenaton and out of a ewe by S1 Cassington. Reserve female champion went to C K & A Bryson, Kilfaddoch flock with a ewe by R1 Knockairdie.
