The Twenty Second Annual Show and sale on behalf of the Bluefaced Leicester Sheep Breeders Association took place at Welshpool on Thursday 1st October 2009 with 390 sheep on offer. Yearlings averaged £378 and lambs £270. A top price of £861 from an excellent run of sheep from G P Williams Bryndansi Abergele. Judge on the day was A Clarke Moors Main.

Yearling Rams - 1st and Reserve Champion H Whittal Edgton Farm Craven Arms selling to £577.50. 2nd H Whittal Edgton Farm Craven Arms selling to £630.00. 3rd S A Harding Shrewbridge Court Nantwich selling to £577.50.

Aged - 1st and Champion S A Jones Meddiant Isaf Colwyn Bay and was not sold. 2nd G P Williams & Co Bryndansi Abergele selling to £399. 3rd G W Howartson Fferm Farm Llandudno selling to £294.

Ram Lamb - 1st M C Roberts Myfyrian Isaf Gaerwen selling to £315. 2nd S A Jones Meddiant Isaf Colwyn Bay selling to £315. 3rd D P May 6 Derwyn Green Four Crosses selling to £252.
