A show and sale of Bluefaced Leicesters was held at Ruthin on Thursday 21st October when the judge Ted Williams, Lower Down, Lydbury awarded the following prizes. The Overall Champion and Champion Male was a shearling ram (Lot 48) from P A Smith, Bodtegir, Corwen which sold for 560 gns to L Jones, Derwydd, Llanfihangel GM.

The Reserve Champion Male was the 2nd prize shearling ram (Lot 35) from E Owen, Ffrith Arw, Llanddoged, Conwy which sold for 520 gns to C Evans, Tan y Gaer, Llanfihangel GM.

The first prize ram lamb was awarded to (Lot 73) from E Owen which sold for 1,000 gns to J McLeod, Nant y Glyd, Dolwen, Abergele.

The Reserve Overall Champion and Champion Female was (Lot 85) from J McLeod which sold for 380 gns to P May, Fourcrosses, Llanymynach. The Reserve Champion Female was awarded to (Lot 83) from G Howatson, Fferm Farm, Llandudno.
