Lanark Sale

Top price at the Lanark sale
was a tup shearling from
Andrew Warnock, Dreva,
which sold for £700

Champion at Lanark was
this tup shearling from Hazel Brown, Leadburnlea, which
sold for £500

Top price, which was actually higher than last years topper, at the Lanark sale was £700 for a tup shearling from Andrew Warnock Dreva, which was sired by a W2 Nunnerie sire. The days champion by the R1 Glenairlie, from Hazel Brown, Leadburnlea sold for £500 to M/s Coltherd, Foulshiels.

Again as has been the case this year so far the demand has only been for the very best sheep, which have been picked up at bargain prices as the lack of spare cash begins to really bite the industry.
