A meeting of the Scottish Region will take place at the
Buccleugh & Queensbury Hotel, Thornhill, Dumfries on
Thursday 29th November at 7.30 pm
The Agenda is attached and in addition, The meeting will be followed by a talk about the findings of the Longwool project and the new recording index by David Raine and Derek Hall. This will be a very informative talk about the opportunities for the breed to move forward and grasp the new technology available to us. I would encourage as many members as possible to attend to hear these talks and engage in a lively discussion afterwards.

AGENDA

On Wednesday 7 th February 2007 at Lanark Auction Mart the Scottish Region Bluefaced Leicester AGM was held ,after which the 3rd Annual Stockjudging in conjunction with the Scotch Mule Association took place . Over 120 members and friends took part in the stockjudging . The overall winner was Hamish Glasgow picking up £150 prize money. This event was again kindly sponsored by Elanco Animal Health. There were six classes of stock to be judged, the past B.F.L. National Association Chairman Mr Dennis Lumley, Nookton Farm was the judge for the evening. After judging each class he gave reasons why he placed them in their order.
