M James 'Guess the weight of the ram' competition - Phil Davies of the Gornal flock had kindly supplied the tup and two gimmers for the stand exhibition, and had also offered a prize of a ewe lamb for the winner of the competition. Nearly £200 pounds was raised and this will go to Leukeamia Research. It certainly created a bit of interest in the stand. The weight of the Ram was 161.5 kg and the first correct entry out of the hat was Miss Mari Owen from North Wales. |
